Salad Dressing, Summer Strawberry 295ml, Little Creek
$7.99
Organic Sunflower Oil, Strawberry Vinegar (Organic Strawberries, Rice Vinegar), Reconstituted Organic Lemon Juice, Nutritional Yeast, Organic Tamari Soy Sauce (Filtered Water, Organic Whole Soy Beans, Certified Organic Wheat, Sea Salt, Brewing Starter [Aspergillus Sojae]), Organic Garlic, Organic Cayenne, Sea Salt
It was the abundance of organic strawberries grown in the hot Okanagan sun that inspired me to develop this dressing. The sun's heat lingers in the spice of the cayenne, while the fresh strawberries suggest the cool of the lake. Try it on spinach, salad or mixed greens, as well as on your favourite savoury dishes, fruits or vegetables, and as a dip, topping or sauce.
In 1995, Donna Denison bottled the first batch of Little Creek Dressing on herΒ family farm β Little Creek Gardens. More than two decades later, the dressingΒ is still made with care in small batches.
The Little Creek property has been in the Denison family since 1947. Donna,Β her husband Dale, and son Jubi moved to the land in 1984 to farm organicΒ vegetables. Ten years later, looking for a way to work from home while sheΒ raised her twin daughters, Donna decided to try bottling the salad dressing sheΒ had always served with the organic greens from the farm.
Donna developed each dressing recipe using high-quality, organic ingredientsΒ paired with handcrafted vinegars to create unique, artisan flavours. As well,Β all the dressings are Β vegan, GMO-free, and produced using renewably-sourcedΒ energy.
At first, Donna made the famous Okanaganβs Original Vinaigrette using raspberries, basil, and garlic that grew on the farm. When production got too big,Β Little Creek bought ingredients from other farmers. The business kept growing,Β and in 2014, production moved off the farm and into the Little Creek facility inΒ Kelowna. In 2016, Jubi became the companyβs Executive Director, continuingΒ the family legacy.

Today, Little Creek Dressing is made in small, well-tended batches, and theΒ company remains true to its founding values: creating wholesome, flavourfulΒ foods that support healthy eating, healthy living, and a healthy planet.
