Haskap Berries, Frozen

"Haskap berries might just be gaining popularity in North America, but they have long been known by the Ancient Japanese as “the fruit of long life and good eyesight”. Haskap is the name given by the Japanese, which translates “many presents at the end of the branches”.

When fully ripe, the Haskap berry is indigo blue in color, shaped like an elongated blueberry and some describe the flavor to like a Sweet Tart. Most often described as a combination of a blueberry, raspberry and blackberry. The taste varies between varieties."
